Yvaine is the heroine of Neil Gaiman's novel Stardust. She is a fallen star who is found by young Tristran Thorne and they have an amazing adventure in the magic realm of Stormhold. Three wicked witches try to get Yvaine so they can get back their youth and beauty. The sons of the Lord of Stormhold also want her, because she possesses a topaz which belonged to Stormhold, and whichever of his heirs finds it first will become the next Lord of Stormhold.
